1.     Online sales

The exhibition "Toutankhamon. À la découverte du pharaon oublié" opens on October 11, 2023. It is hosted at the Hall 5, Parc des Expositions (Strasbourg, France) by Tempora Ltd (Tempora).

2. Application of terms and conditions 

The agreements between the purchaser and Tempora Ltd. are fully and exclusively governed by the present general terms and conditions, notwithstanding any provision to the contrary in any document issued by the customer.

2.1. Prices

Ticket prices are shown on our website (www.expo-toutankhamon.com) in €, inclusive of all taxes. Special conditions will only be applied at the exhibition reception desk on the day of the visit.

Any purchaser requesting a special rate will be required to prove their entitlement with an official document when passing through the ticket control. 

2.2. Personal data

When purchasing ticket(s) via the internet, the purchaser is obliged to complete every stage. During the procedure, the purchaser will be asked to provide specific information that is necessary to process his/her order. The purchaser then confirms that this information is correct and up-to-date. The ticket purchaser takes all precautionary measures to keep his/her password secret.

In accordance with the GDPR, Tempora Ltd will only use this data for the promotion of its activities. Tempora Ltd certifies that this data will not be sold or exchanged under any circumstances. Visitors may unsubscribe from newsletters at any time and no longer be included in Tempora Ltd's database by sending an e-mail to privacy@tempora.be or by unsubscribing by themselves. privacy@tempora.be or by unsubscribing by themselves.

2.3. Your ticket

a. No ticket will be refunded.

b. Delivery: Once payment has been accepted, the ticket is sent to the e-mail address indicated during the order process. It is delivered in .pdf format.

c. Validity: To be valid, your ticket must be presented at the exhibition entrance on your telephone or in printed form. A ticket is issued for each admission purchased. Ticket validity is checked and recorded at the entrance using barcode readers, and the ticket is valid only for the date of visit selected when you placed your order. It is not possible to be admitted more than once with the same ticket.

d. Only the first person to present a ticket may enter the exhibition. This person is presumed to be the legitimate ticket holder. It is therefore forbidden to reproduce, duplicate or counterfeit the ticket in any way, or to make it available for such purposes. The purchaser must keep the e-ticket in a safe place. The purchaser must never accept a ticket offered by a stranger, as it could be a copy. The ticket holder may be someone other than the purchaser.

e. Groups receive a voucher to present at the ticket office on arrival. The price will be calculated according to the number of people present in the group.

2.4. Payment

Validating an order implies the buyer's obligation to pay the indicated price. The buyer must pay for his purchases on the site by credit card. The debit of the bank account is independent of the use of the tickets. In all circumstances, tickets are paid for even if the purchaser fails to print them out. Proof of payment cannot be used as an admission ticket.

Entrance tickets for groups are paid for directly at the ticket office or by invoice after the visit. Purchasers must mention the latter option when booking and must provide the necessary billing details.

Payment by invoice after the visit is only possible for groups who have made a reservation.

2.5. “I haven't used my ticket”

Entry tickets are valid for a single admission for the date and time shown on the ticket. Unused tickets will not be refunded or exchanged.

2.6. Rescheduling tickets

Visit dates and times can be changed by sending an email to info@expo-toutankhamon.com from Monday to Friday between 9:30am and 5pm.

Changes can be made up to three times and a maximum of three hours before the chosen time slot.
