About the experience
The exhibition "Tutankhamun. Discovering the Forgotten Pharaoh" immerses you in the heart of Ancient Egypt and the most famous archaeological explorations in History, Howard Carter's, which led to the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb.
The visit lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours.
The exhibition takes place at La Sucrière (49-50 Quai Rambaud, 69002, Lyon, France).
The audio guide (in French or English) is included in the entrance price.
The audio guide is available in both French and English.
The content of the exhibition is also both in French and English.
Guided tours are available at €100 for one hour and a half and for a group of 20 people maximum. Please book your guided tour via info@expo-toutankhamon.com at least 5 days in advance.
If you are at least 20 people, you can visit the exhibition at the preferential rate of €15 pp.
If you wish to visit the museum without a guide, you can make your reservation by email to : info@expo-toutankamon.com with "Adult group" as an email subject.
For a more specific experience (guided tour, privatisation, etc.), you can also contact our team via info@expo-toutankhamon.com.
School groups can visit the exhibition with the advantageous price of €9 pp, with a free accompanying person per 15 students. Additional accompanying persons will have to pay €9 as well.
School visits can be done with audio guides (included in the price) ou with a guide (€90 for one hour and a half, 20 students per guide maximum).

This is an indoor exhibition.
Benches are available throughout the exhibition.
Pictures are allowed, without a flash and with respect for the others visitors. Professional equipment and tripods are strictly forbidden.
Animals are not allowed in the exhibition, except for service dogs.

About the exhibition location
Yes, the exhibition site is accessible by public transport: Line T1/T2 " Hôtel de Région Montrochet" stop or bus S1 "La Sucrière" stop.
There is a car park located at the Confluence Shopping Centre, however there is no car park at the exhibition site.
Yes, it is accessible to PRMs and equipped with adapted bathrooms, an elevator and an outdoor ramp.

No there is not. The Vigipirate plan in France is still in force, therefore the reception staff is prohibited from keeping your personal belongings.

About the tickets and the reservation
We advise you to book your tickets online to ensure an access to the exhibition at the time and date of your choice.
You can still buy your tickets on site, subject to availability.
Please note: if you received a ticket auprès de votre CE ou que vous possédez une carte CEZAM, you don't need to book your visit online and can come visit the exhibition whenever you want during our opening hours.

Le Pass Culture, à destination des jeunes de 15 à 18 ans octroie un tarif de 12€ pour une visite de l’exposition. Afin d’en bénéficier, rendez-vous sur le site de Pass Culture ou sur l’application mobile directement pour réserver vos billets.

We do have a reduced rate of €15 for seniors who hold the Senior Card of the city of Lyon. If that is your case, please get your tickets at the exhibition reception desk with this document.
